Braille Library (Digital Information Resource Center for V.I.) University of Delhi, DELHI.
Braille Library is a special unit of Central Library, University of Delhi which is dedicatedly working to provide the study material in accessible format (Only Syllabus Books) to the Visually Challenged students/residents/faculty members of the University of Delhi.
The study materials (Only Syllabus Books) for Undergraduate and postgraduate students are available in Audio, E-Text and EPUB on the website of Braille Library. Braille Script is made available as per the demand of the students.
1. Users of the Braille Library can request for the materials which is not available in an accessible format, Braille Library attempts to provide the material in accessible format.:
2.The Braille Library has 10 units of ORBIT Braille Reader 40 cells for the use of students.:
3. Braille Library have a collection of around 4000+ syllabus books in accessible format i.e. e-text, e-pub, audio and braille books.:
The Visually Impaired students can obtain the membership of Braille Library to get benefited with study material in accessible format. The membership form for Braille Library is also attached herewith.
