Future plans of Library

The following are the future plans of Library , keeping in view the changing environment and in the context of new information communication technology:
  1. Digitization of documents; digitization of special collections and making those materials freely available for research.
  2. Establishment of Reprographic unit.
  3. To make use of open source tools for online education for all users.
  4. Teach the tools of information literacy to the users so that all users may effectively seek knowledge and explore library resources.
  5. To meet the challenge of e-resources, to develop collaborations with other libraries; to generate resources through external membership and information services
  6. To develop the Digital Information Center and to enrich the collection of digital resources in the Digital information centre.
  7. To develop facilities for physically challenged students
  8. To develop plagiarism check center and to install the plagiarism check software Turnitin (anti-plagiarism detection tool)
